Asia Oceania Regional Workshop on GNSS
1-3rd December 2013, Hanoi, Vietnam
We are pleased to announce that the 5th Asia Oceania Regional Workshop on GNSS ill be held in Hanoi, Vietnam, 1-3 December 2013, jointly organized by Growing NAVIS*1, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST)*2, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)*3, Satellite Positioning Research and Application Center (SPAC)*4 and QZS System Services Inc.(QSS)*5 and supported by United Nations International Committee on GNSS(ICG)*6 and International Global Navigation Satellite Systems Service(IGS)*7.
The Asia Oceania Regional Workshop on GNSS has been held every year as part of Asia Oceania Multi-GNSS Demonstration Campaign promoted by Multi-GNSS Asia (MGA)*8, and now this Workshop will be the fifth time following the Workshop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last year. The participating organization to MGA has increased to 25 organizations, and new 6 Multi-GNSS Joint Experiments have started as an activity for Asia Oceania Multi-GNSS Demonstration Campaign.And also, 68 stations for “Multi-GNSS Monitoring Network” which tracks and observes Multi-GNSS have started of operation mainly in Asia Oceania region.
At this Workshop, the results of above mentioned activities will be reported, and the detail plans of future demonstration experiments will be presented and discussed. The participants will share information about the latest trend and needs of Multi-GNSS. International organizations, government agencies, companies, universities and research institutes which have an interest in the utilization of Multi-GNSS are especially welcomed to participate in and to contribute to this workshop.

There is NO registration fee to participate in, or contribute to this workshop.
Capacity is limited to 200 people. Note that the registration for the GNSS Workshop will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.

We hope that participants will make presentations on the proposal for Network Collaboration Project and Multi-GNSS Application, the plan for Multi-GNSS Demonstration Campaign in the Asia Oceania Region, or the result of demonstration experiment on Multi-GNSS Application.If you wish to make a presentation on your proposals, activities and results to share with participants in the agenda item 5. “GNSS Application Session” and 6. “Multi-GNSS Network Session” on 2nd December or 7. “Group Discussion” on 3rd December, please send an email to the workshop secretariat (ws(at)multignss.asia (at) ->@) with your abstract (about 200 words in English) and your biography (about 50 words in English) by Friday, 15th November, 2013.
The Secretariat will let you know if you can make a presentation with the detail agenda. Your presentation file at the Workshop will be opened on the official website for the workshop participants. Your contribution is highly welcomed.
The exhibition booth will be provided to display posters, pamphlets and demonstration devices in this Workshop.
